I figured it out: I got this email this morning from AT&T. I'm glad I changed my password. Kind of odd that all they ever changed was my texting package but I am glad.
>After several unsuccessful attempts were made to log in to your account, we
have temporarily locked online access to your wireless account.

Yes, there are several within a few miles. Why?

Seemed like you have a question/issue that they could answer and show you how to do it.
That's all!

I agree in theory, but I've learned that more dependable answers come from those who are ACTUALLY using the product. No disrespect to the younger generation, but I'm not impressed with the knowledge level of the staff in cell phone stores (regardless of brand affiliation). The emphasis seems to be on getting contracts signed, not offering specific information about the product. When I get blank stares and "I think so" as responses to simple questions I go back to the net for real answers.
Just an old fart who has learned the smell of BS.

Can an iPhone be synced with two computers?
Posted by: "AnneL" shadow484@comcast.net alogston

I have both a desktop and a laptop. Use the laptop frequently when I'm
travelling. Because of this, I make calendar entries in Outlook, notes,
etc. on both computers. Both are authorized with iTunes. I've been all
around Apple's "help" (quotes denote heavy sarcasm on my part) labyrinth,
and I can't seem to find out: Is there any way to be able to sync my iPhone
with both computers?
Thanks,
Anne

No - iPhone (and all iOS Devices) can only be synced with one iTunes
library.
You can keep Outlook in sync via Google or MobileMe though...

The only things that Anne mentioned in her email were calendar and notes. If those are the main things she wants to have in sync on an iPhone and two Macs, if she spent 99 bucks a year for MobileMe, wouldn't that take care of syncing those things without having to go through iTunes?

You can sync between two computers with a couple of issues. Both must be the same operating system. Then one library master file gets copied to the other. If you want the same movies and music to not be deleted the libraries (containing music and videos) must match. Or it can be different it will delete the difference (plus side) fill the phone up at home, the laptop with everything thing else and sync. No messages about difference library
Thanks Andrew Wood

Or, as was previously stated, you can only synchronize with one *library*. So one possibility, depending on how the 2 computers are set up, is to set up iTunes so that the 2 computers share a single library.

Subject: [apple-iphone] White iPhone NOW!
I was waiting for the white iPhone 4. I have always had the white and liked it.
But the problems that were implied with the white iPhone4 concerned me.
Therefore I purchased the black and with a case and an application from a
company called decalskin it looks like the white iPhone4. I have the peace of
mind of the black and the look I wanted too......Both products are at Amazon:
1. White Replicase Hard Crystal Air Jacket Case iPhone 4 4G 16GB 32GB
2. DecalSkin Apple iPhone 4 Skin Cover - Simply White
I am happy!

I can't believe anyone would still be waiting for a white phone. I figured everyone gave up long ago.

Q: POP-account, mail was not loaded from server
Posted by: "Thomas Otterbein" mailbox@otterbein-inet.de thott2001

Hello....
I am new to this list and may be you could help me.
I use the IPhone 4g and have some several POP-Accounts
for mails.
Sometimes I can not load the mail body beside
other mails with normal mail body text.
A message appears, that the "mail was not loaded from server".
I do not know the exact English phrase, because I have
the German menu language.
Dou you guess, what I am doing wrong?
Greetings from Germany
Thomas
