Use a Google account for the Mail app on iPhone .... is there any way to have a different "reply to" address than the one of that Google email account

Tap the Settings icon on the Home screen, tap Mail, and then tap Default Account. Tap the account you want to use as the default. For example, when you want to e-mail a picture directly from the Photos application, this designated e-mail account is the one that will be used. Note that this setting applies only if you have more than one e-mail account on your iPhone.

GV Connect & GV Mobile+
Posted by: "David" dc1999@gmail.com dave24c

According to the App itself, GV Connect is NOT affiliated with Google or Google Voice. For more info, the app says to see the website http://homepage.mac.com/aamann/ GV_Connect. html
I've not thoroughly explored GV Connect and GV Mobile+ yet, but having a tough time with both. And, I can't really determine the functional difference. So far, I prefer the original HTML5 Google Voice.
GV Mobile+ may have solved the problem of trying to send multiple addressees a single SMS message.

In the data entry screen for SMS for GV Mobile+ where one enters an addressee (from your contact list, NOT your GV Contact list), there is a + symbol which implies the user can add an addressee. Apparently, however, all it does is send you again to your Contact list and you may enter a different (NOT additional) addressee.
So, GV Mobile+ does NOT apparently have the capability to send the same Text message to multiple addressees.
Most other cell phone I'm familiar with permit multiple addressee for SMS messages, including those on AT&T.

The iPhone shows up just like a Camera under Windows - click My Compuer and
the Camera folder will be under removable storage and/or Cameras and
Scanners (depending on version of Windows).

When you hook up your phone on the sync cable, your PC will think it's a
camera & offer to start <one of several programs>. Pick camera wizard &
transfer photos.

Re: CV Mobile + Issues??

I'm having good luck with GV mobile + as well. Works well with offline
dialing enabled or disabled. With it disabled, the calls go through much
faster if you don't mind a ring-back to connect. With offline dialing
enabled it takes a while to do its auto-dialing routine "talking" to you all
the while - you just have to wait it out and ignore it's request for a pin.
That mode tries my patience a bit, but it could be useful in a no-data or
marginal-data performance situation.
Also, with offline dialing disabled, my outgoing caller ID is the google
voice number. With offline dialing enabled, it sends the number of whatever
phone I'm using.

Calendar vent --
Posted by: "amazonadoc" amazondoc@mindspring.com amazonadoc

Hey all --
I just purchased my first iPod -- 4th gen, 32gb. I have used Macs for 15 years, and Palm products for at least 5, but this is my first experience with ipod.
I like many things about it, so far. HOWEVER -- I can not BELIEVE that these idjit developers didn't put a week view in the default Calendar app. No week view?? SERIOUSLY??
I have already downloaded the "Week Cal" app, and it's a big step in the right direction. But does anyone have a good all-in-one solution to recommend? Something like DateBk4 from the Palm OS, or something more like iCal? It must be able to sync with iCal, but I never sync with online calendars so that wouldn't matter to me. I already use a good organizer/scheduler (Life Balance), but I need a good visual calendar to go with it.
Thanks in advance for any tips!

Check out Pocket Informant. It used to be a palm app as well. It is very
much like datebook and can use the emoji icons to make it look very much
like datebook. It syncs with google calendar and also with toodledoical for
to dos. I use it and am very pleased. Still miss datebook but am using
Pimlical for the desktop so I can sync pocket informant to google and then to
Pimlical ( desktop app made by the same developer as datebook).

When I looked at the help files it states that pocket informant syncs with
google calendar. Ical and outlook need to be synced with google calendar
so that pocket informant can then read them. Toodledoical was a special
ical from the toodledo website that syncs with google calendar. So I was not
helpful for you to sync ical calendars without using the cloud. I had
hoped PI would work for you.

Thanks for trying, Sue. Right now I'm giving WeCal II a try, along with the Week Cal app. The WeCal II week view isn't perfect, but I'm gonna give it a chance.
I've also found SmartCal, which I may try if I get fed up with WeCal. And it appears that OS 4 has added some sort of info-sharing capabilities in the calendar, if I'm reading the WeCall II info correctly, so there may be new apps coming out that will incorporate the feature in the near future.
If anyone else has suggestions, please let me know!
