I moved from Toshiba Laptop to iMac couple of years ago. I sent message to Apple support asking what to do and they changed my purchased content so it could all be downloaded again.

Back when I had a Pocket Pc from Verizon I received such good service
and the Tech's were very helpful and that was at a local store.
Now with AT&T I have to travel 50 miles to a key AT&T store for help.

Generic Chargers...

Greetings, group!
A few weeks ago I purchased (for $9.99) a generic iPhone car charger at TJ Maxx. The thing works well for charging... but it has an issue.
When my phone is charging in the car, there is no sound. If I watch youtube - no sound. Netflix - no sound. Recorded videos - you get the idea. Even simply sliding to unlock doesn't give me the "click" noise.
When the phone gets plugged in, I get a pop-up message saying something about "this accessory does not match with the iPhone system." Obviously that's probably answered my question why the sound goes out, but I'm wondering if anyone else has a similar off-brand charger and experienced this as well. And, of course, what did you do to remedy it?
Thanks!

I do. I purchased a set that included the car charger on EBay. When I use the car charger the phone freezes. It will charge for a short time then I get the accessory not supported. I have to unplug and replug to start charging again but I cannot use the phone while it's plugged in. As soon as I unplug the phone it's useable again.

It maybe that the cable you are using with it makes the iPhone think that it will accept the audio to play through other speakers. You did not tell us what cable you are using Apple or others.
My vehicle is old enough not to have an auxiliary, USB or iPod port in the stereo, so I added a aftermarket adapter to play the iPhone through the stereo, while charging the iPhone. I get the same message as you are getting. Up until I get that message the iPhone uses its own speakers, and after it plays through the stereo. It does stop the audio player, and I have to restart it to continue listening to my audio.
Did you try head phones to see if that was the issue?
I hope you are not watching video while driving.
BTW, I also get the same message on an Apple Universal Dock on my night stand, with an Apple adapter providing the power.

I have Blue Ant T1, it lets you listen to music/podcasts/audio books via bluetooth. Works great.

Rocketfish Battery Case Question
Posted by: "TERRY" tccox@bellsouth.net tccox@bellsouth.net

Just bought a Rocketfish battery case and so far I am pleased but would like to track how much usage time I'm getting with the additional battery pack. Problem is the iPhone runs off the battery case until its depleted and thinks its being charged so usage stats do not start until the Rocketfish pack gets to 0%. Anyone know of a program that tracks usage while on a auxiliary battery pack?

Can't see videos in iTunes
Posted by: "Leti Yahoo" l_labell@yahoo.com l_labell

I just upgraded to the latest version of iTunes. Now, when I play a video in iTunes, I only get the audio part, not the video part. How can I fix this? The videos play fine on my iPhone, just not on my PC (using Vista) under iTunes.
Regards,
Leti
