[apple-iphone] Re: iphone insurance

I dropped all of the AT&T insurance on my phones and went with Worth Ave Group (www.worthavegroup.com) when I purchased my IPhone. Low rates, selectable deductibles, and covers everything. I have all my PC's, phones and game players with them.

This wasn't an advertisement and I have no personal interest in them :-)

I'm also looking for a replacement. I use notespark...and am relatively satisfied...EXCEPT for the size of the fonts!

Would like to be able to search it..but the font size s more important. Yes...I could search on iPhone...but there is nothing like a 'one on one' user to give their opinion!

Have you looked in iTunes? I did a Power Search for note outlook and it
pulled up 11 apps.

The prototype that was leaked I thought was bigger or felt bigger

[apple-iphone] Notes replacement program?

2:35 PM By Livemail

I am looking for a program to replace the Notes application that came with the iPhone. Nothing fancy, I do not need any additional features. I would just like something a little easier to read. I would like to have a more conventional font and be able to change it's size. THE CATCH IS: it must be able to sync with notes within MS-Outlook. If it can't do that it is a deal breaker.

Thanks in advance... Bob

The battery was already revealed to be 16% larger / more powerful so I am
guessing we would have the same battery life with a larger battery.

And if I remember right from my Palm PDA days, the greater resolution the
bigger battery hit.
It takes more power to run all them extra pixels... ;)

Re: [apple-iphone] Screen res question

the mac os has for years had rumors of resolution independence. i dont know what that is. could thats be tied to the 960Pix iphone screen? could the screen be to better tied it to the ipad or macbook with a higher res??? i guess tats the video card not the pixel count.
well things will look sharper is the dots are 4X as small, right? is it needed? in the current form factor i'd say its over kill. but maybe something half the size of an ipad but twice the size of an ipod?????
or could it all be to eventaully bring the apple tv ipad and ipod and iphone easier to make?

Re: [apple-iphone] Screen res question

I tend to agree Otto - as I have mentioned enough to make everyone groan, I
also have an HTC Incredible with a similar screen size, AMOLED screen vs
iPhone's LCD and higher resolution and for reading nearly anything more than
a few lines I much prefer the iPhone. When it was 'leaked' that the iPhone
would be sticking with an LCD screen I couldn't have been happier, the
AMOLED is gorgeous and vibrant inside or in a light controlled environment
but outside is impossible to see let alone use, is very fragile, etc.

My HOPE is that you will be able to select the resolution of the iPhone or
that it will intelligently use higher resolution for video, photo, etc and
lower resolution/etc but text, email, web, etc
