Yeah, I don't think AT&T's 'insurance' is any sort of deal at all - I would
just put that $14/mo (which you know there will be taxes/etc added on) in a
savings account and at the end of a year, you will have ~$170 which with
the 'deductible' would be enough to buy a new phone (either new model or
replacement).

Or use one of the third party insurance companies if you really want actual
'insurance'...
