Rich, to accomplish what you want to do, you could use "DropBox"
(http://www.dropbox.com/). It's free (for 2 GB of storage), and will sync
up as you want. There is also an app for the iPhone that will allow you to
see (but not modify) the files stored in your dropbox. I use it a lot.
