I have a Touch so do not fully understand the wonders of the iPhone, but
remember you will have your iPhone with you and it will act as a Touch
(probably should remove the SIM to be safe from charges?). Much can be
done with a Touch, so it might be best, or initially best, to go with a
cheap, even prepaid phone until you see which phone or network will suit
your needs.

I'd have to tack on $25/mo. for 20 mb of internet data or an additional $119 for 200 mb of data. I then asked her how much it will cost me to get out of my contract, which I will do. :(
