I wanted to weigh in that I believe this can only be resolved by contacting AT&T
and having them reset the iphone password. I say that after trying EVERY
solution I could find on various websites.

My problem also started after the upgrade. I thought that Bill's suggestion
solved the problem, but it didn't.

You can log into att.com and click on "Change Voice Mail Password" in the
far right column:

If you forget your password, log in to your myWireless
Account<http://www.wireless.att.com/my-account/>to reset your
password, or dial 611 from your wireless phone and follow the
prompts.

I have had the problem in the past not recently but it went away when
I powered the phone off and then on.

Smokie;

Voice mail can ONLY be accessed with a password. Your voice mail had a "default" password when you setup your number/account with AT&T (or which ever carrier you have). if you did not "setup" your voice mail then it still had the default..I'm not sure what that is, for some reason I thought it was, at least at some point, "1111". As Bill sugested it could be "1234". You use the default password to sign on the first time and then change it to your own password.

Re: Problems with airprint

Posted by: "bladessf@aol.com" bladessf@aol.com   bladessf2000

Yes I did. I can access the printer through three computers - 2 laptops
and my desktop. I can also access the printer through the HP iprint app on
the iphone. airprint doesn't see it at all. I think the only HP printers
that airprint directly works with are the models with a C in their number.
I am using an 8500 eprint (really like it by the way). I can send an
email attachment to the printer from the iphone in a pinch to print other
formats I guess!!

Did you try to access your network printer before installing/setting up

itunes can't connect after iphone update this morning

Posted by: "N1JMM1_GMAIL" n1jmm1@gmail.com   n1jmm

iTunes apparently did an update of my iPhone 4 this morning

Now it can't connect to the phone.

I tried cycling power on the phone, unplugging the USB cable, and
restarting iTunes twice, same error.

Anybody else having this problem, or more importantly, how to get it
working again?

Someone else was reporting a problem with the iTunes Server - what exactly
is happening, phone isn't showing up, you can't sync, or ?

Anyone use their iPhone on WalMart family mobile? It looks interesting. I know if I unlock my 3G then I can use it on their service but was wondering how it worked. Thanks.

Wal-Mart Family Mobile is really T-Mobile (as MetroPCS is to spring) so
theoretically an unlocked iPhone will work on the service but only on the
EDGE network (no 3G service), T-Mobile doesn't use the same 3G radio
frequency as the iPhone/AT&T.

Anyone using the Boaqari Q1 metal headphones listed?
It's not entirely clear if they are equipped with iPhone 4 controls. Clearly there is an inline mic, but other controls are not obvious.

Not a bad price if they're iPhone 4 friendly.

TIA,
John

I attempted to access a site for some educational units. Unfortunately, the site was using Adobe Flash Player. I have downloaded "Skyfire" but am having difficulty using it. I seem to be finding more sites that use Adobe than before. Yes, I can go to my PC and access the sites through it, but I am using my iPhone or iPad at the time. Any suggestions? The use of Skyfire?

Skyfire is not a cure all for Flash. It is only for Flash Video but it will not help Flash web sites. It works by converting Flash video to HTML5 and then playing it back to your iDevice.

I understand that Windows Explorer can see the iPhone as an external drive
so you can copy and delete the photos using that. Alternatively, I'd expect
any Windows photo app to do the same.

Other than reading these posts, how am I supposed to know about these developments? I hooked my phone to iTunes and there was nothing about an OS update. Even Windows notifies me when there are updates available--even optional ones. I also don't know when any of my apps have updates, until I hook up to iTunes. Am I missing something?

Yes stopping the AT&T contract only kills the phone and Edge service.
