Yup - you have to go through the steps of Settings > Mail / Contacts /
Calendars > MobileMe and use your Apple/iTunes ID as the new account the
current id and password you use to log into iTunes then you can turn on the
'limited' features (Find my iPhone, gallery, etc). Once you set it up on
your iPhone you can then log into me.com using your full iTunes ID (for
example mgmarx19@yahoo.com or billsiphone@yahoo.com or johndoe62@gmail.com)
and password. MobileMe members still log in as normal unless you want to
use a separate ID for these features then you log in with your iTunes ID.

Note you can NOT log into me.com until you set up MobileMe on your iPhone,
iPod Touch, or iPad running 4.2 - you will actually see the logos on
me.comchange once you enter the @ sign signifying that you are logging
in with an
Apple/iTunes ID and not a MobileMe UIsername

WiFi and the printer has to be shared on a Mac that is turned on and running
OS X 10.6.5 with Printer Sharing turned on.

I have MAC O.S. 10.6.5., I enabled PRINTER SHARING.. yet when I try to use the
option in iOS 4.2., the Printer Options window pop up, I select, SELECT PRINTER
it looks for my printer, but still get the "no printer found" message

Compatible With iOS 4.2? via iSmashPhone - Turn your Phone into your
MyPhone by Jacob Lopez on 11/22/10

If you look at the above picture, Apple added the camera icon to all of
their iPod Touch models. (Fail)

For the past several weeks we've all been waiting for a specific iOS
4.2 release date. That day is today. As initially announced, the
software made its way to iOS devices in November.

Once the software is available, we have to know if our device is
compatible. Let's have a look at the iOS devices that will support iOS
4.2 when it releases to the public later today.

The devices compatible with iOS 4.2 are:

iPhone 3G (Does not support GameCenter and Multitasking)

iPhone 3GS

iPhone 4 (Adds Free find my iPhone service compatibility)

iPod touch 2nd generation (Does not support GameCenter and Multitasking)

iPod touch 3rd generation

iPod touch 4th generation

iPad (Adds Free Find My iPad service compatibility)

If you are ready for the new update, check out some of our past posts,
which will help you prepare and know what to expect from iOS 4.2:

old Dell Laser printer both work fine with Airprint - been using it since
Beta 3.

It doesn't, yet - I have been using it since Beta 3 of 4.2 (more than 2
months ago) and neither of my Macs stay on 24/7 - only Windows at home and
office so it is a pain in the ass if I want to print something when either
Mac is shut down. There is no "PDF Printer Driver" for Mac either so I
can't save something as a PDF from iPhone or iPad either - I can't WAIT for
it to come to Windows as I have PDF "Printers" installed and Windows stays
on 24/7 at home and office so I can print or create PDF without having to
think about if a Mac is turned on.

They HAVE to expand Airprint to Windows in some form or another there are
way too many iPad, iPod, & iPhone users who only have Windows PCs & networks
not to implement it.

Have you installed OS X 10.6.5 and have a Shared Printer installed and
Printer Sharing enabled in system preferences? In any message or web page
hit forward and Print will be an option.

Have you installed OS X 10.6.5 and have a Shared Printer installed and
Printer Sharing enabled in system preferences? In any message or web page
hit forward and Print will be an option.

For now, yes - there should be a windows component coming down as part of
the "Mobile Me Control Panel" item through Apple Software Update before the
end of the month (probably by weekend).

Well, not really. I bought one of the new HP Photoshop Plus printers, the
B210A and my Iphone 3GS prints wonderfully to it. Even gives me message on
Iphone if Ink is low. Also when you setup the printer the printer gets
assigned its own unique email address. So wherever you are in the world
just email photo or file to that address and it prints, also sends photos to
photo print tray automatically. Printer sells for about $100
