How long will these sales last? And do they have to be purchased at the apple store. Or will like bestbuy and walmart honor the discounted price?

Today only and only at apple.com or in Apple stores - Best Buy (and other
stores) have their own sales

full prices are up at store.apple.com and NO the Apple TV rumor didn't
happen, $99 - no discount... But $21, $31 & $41 on touches, $41 of all
iPads, $101 off 13" Airs & all MBPros & iMacs, lots of various
accessories...

Ok perfect thanks bill.
Does anyone know who is giving the best deal. I know on the 8gb touch walmart is winning. Anyone know if the gift card is also available at walmart for the 32 and 64?

Amazon has the 8GB touch for $199 plus a $25 Amazon gift card. So no tax,
or shipping (for me), so definitely beating WalMart for me. I went ahead
and ordered.

Just trying to see what is the best deal. Would it be overkill to own a iPhone (3GS) and a 4th Gen itouch. I don't see myself upgrading to the iPhone 4. Plus I have the iPhone classic as well

Does my memory serve right. That the 3rd generation touch had the mic microphones? I ask because I thought it came standard. Just noticed the 4th gen has the normal microphones.am I correct or just incorrect on that thought.

My 3rd gen iTouch does not have a microphone. You can maybe plug one
in (ie, telephony headset for Skype, etc), I haven't tried, but the
device itself does not have one.

Accuweather quick.I was curious if anyone else who is using this could
answer the question as to where the odd location names come from when you
click on the current location it gives you a odd name ..just curious.

and enter it.

I tryed that on my Win 7 machine and it still wants both. So I turned on the Guest Account & now my printer is unlocked and does not ask for a password. That does require you to select which account at start up, but doesn't require a sign on. Personal choice I guess.

The only password I was asked for was the password to the secure Wifi network. Is that what is going on?

If you are on a Mac and you are trying to delete the photos from your iphone that you have, you can connect your iphone to your Mac via the USB cable and open iPhoto. The option to import a selected few or all is given and also the option to delete the imported files from your iphone is also given.

Try 1234 or the last 4 digits of your phone # if neither of those work you
can log into att.com and reset your password or call their customer service
# and use the automated password reset reature to something then enter the
new password.

ditto.

I use voicemail (or even the phone, as a *phone*) so little I can't be
sure -- but I do remember trying it out & not needing a password. It could
have been weeks before I noticed if the topic hadn't come up here!

I called & got a reset, then changed it to something I think I can remember.

TomTom discount

TomTom navigation Apps are $20 off for a limited time.

I've been using the US/Canada map as my primary navigation aid for months, and my stand-alone Garmin unit has moved to my wife's car.

The US/Canada map is $40 now.

Note: TomTom maps/Apps are "all maps included" - they are fully useable even in zero cellular/Wifi reception areas.

RoboForm

v6UCFRhCgwod2BlOZw> is also a great password manager. I've been using it
for years with no glitches. It comes with a lot of extras, like password
generation.

iTunes unable to back up iPhone

Posted by: "Rachel" RachelSilvaRN@gmail.com   rachelruth2

Hi Everyone:

When syncing my iPhone to my Windows Vista PC I now receive a message "iTunes could not back up the iPhone because the backup could not be saved on the computer. "

Can anyone tell me what to do to resolve this issue so I can then proceed in upgrading to the iOS 4.2 software?

Thanks so much,
Rachel
