I wouldn't worry about it. The flash memory is more likely to last longer than you want the phone and other issues.
Thanks Andrew Wood

Flash memory, unless broken in half, burnt, or otherwise harmed will likely
outlast most of the other hardware.

2- I am using my server for my home computer and xmarks servers for the other PC.
I want to merge them together.
Would I Get Duplicates? If I Merge Home server with Xmarks' servers OR Xmarks' servers to me Home server?
Thank you All...

I haven't used the Xmarks app since you can just log in to your account via
their website to see and use your links.
While they had announced that they were going out of business a few weeks
back things have changed an a buyer was found. They are on the verge of
announcing the new owner very soon.

Outdated news. They got the user-funding they needed to continue the
service. Also, they are supposed to have instructions on how to set
up your own server so you can use the system without using THEIR servers.

That is only for Firefox unfortunately, when they announced the original
closing I moved to my own server and turned off Safari, IE & Chrome syncing
but have since moved back to XMarks server and re-enabled them...

Warranty

Hi all. I just had my phone switched out at the apple store due to battery problems.
I was wondering about my warranty. Does it start over based on the issue of a new phone? Anyone know?
The warranty in the first phone ends Nov 30 and I want to purchase an additional year but don't know now if I have to do it right away.
Thanks for your help.

I would call the Apple store, but logically it is 1 year from the date it
was put in your hands by the store.

Yes, check with Apple.
In my experience though, I had a 3G that had a month left on warranty. I
got a replacement and was told that the previous warranty didn't extend onto
the new one nor do I get another year on the new one. I checked online the
other day and the warranty has expired. I've only had the new 3G for about
2 months.

You'd think so, but no. Unless they changed their policies in the
last year.

Hi Callie,
If they switched out your phone they will extend the warranty to 90
days from that point or for the period of the original warranty
whichever is later. However if you want to buy AppleCare to extend
the warranty, I believe they count that from the day the phone was
originally purchased.

Jay

Accidentally downloaded all the photos off my computer
Posted by: "Carol Corley" floridabouvs@gmail.com floridabouvs

When I was syncing my IPhone 4 I saw I could import photos. Silly me, I
thought I was importing the iphone photos from the phone to the computer (HP
pavilion XP), but instead, I ended up with all the photos from my computer
onto my phone. That's not a big problem because I have 32g and not that much
else on it taking up space right now. However, a lot of the photos are
duplicates or simply bad photos that I'd just as soon delete off my phone --
but not off the computer. I don't see any way to do that. Suggestions?
Thanks,
Carol

Two options:
Segregate the photos you want to copy to the iPhone from those you
don't and point iTunes to use only the folder with the photos you do,
or use Photoshop Elements' Organizer to create albums and set iTunes
to use Photoshop Elements instead of a folder location.

You're lucky. I've got over 36 GB of images on my desktop computer (including various types of duplicates).
