Subject: Re: [apple-iphone] iTunes and Vista
Never had that problem but had many issues with syncing. I found that
disabling antivirus software during sync stopped the issues I was having. In
3 months there has not been one issue. (In the past every sync was an
exercise in reboots.) Perhaps uninstalling following the exact instructions
from apple (_http://support.apple.com/ kb/ht1925_
(http://support.apple.com/ ) ) and then reinstalling with antivirus and possible firewallkb/ht1925
disabled (if internet connection is stopped while you install) may help. I am
using AVG and Zonealarm and they routinely cause me problems if on during a
sync.
I may be totally off base. hope this helps.

The message went incomplete. Sorry.
My query was that App stocks permits monitoring of up to 6
stocks. Any idea if one wants to monitor more than 6?

Try Bloomberg.
I can't recall how many I track there but I think it's more than 6.

The Apple stocks app lets you track more than 6.
I use Bloomberg though.

There's a new application for the iPhone called "Bluefire
Reader<http://itunes.apple.com/ >"us/app/bluefire- reader/id3942754 98?mt=8
that supports Adobe DRM epub files. I haven't had a need to try it so I
don't know how well it works. Another bonus with this application is that
you can read local digital library books that support this format.
Another option would be to wait until December when Sony has their own
Reader <http://ebookstore.sony.com/ > application coming to iOS.rme/
Hope this helps,
Chris
are using DRM that's not supported on the iPhone by any applications.

Data usage

I just upgraded to iPhone 4, and I'm trying to keep an eye on my data usage.
I checked it at 8:17 this morning (using the *3282# text message to AT&T) and my total so far this month was 317.7 MB. The phone basically sat unused on my desk all day, and when I checked *3282# again at 3:27 this afternoon, my total is now 328.8MB. In other words, it used 11 megs, just sitting on my desk doing nothing. No phone calls, no internet browsing, no GPS fixes. How come?
I have push notifications turned off, data roaming off. 3G is turned on, but I didn't actually use the phone for anything.

Non of the methods of checking usage ( text, app or web site) are up to the minute. They tend to lag behind by as much as days.

Why not try the ATT mobile app? Doesn't use text.

The AT&T App is no more up to date than the text message, in fact I suspect it gets it's information from the same place.

lately instead of the edge network icon, I have been getting a circle. I tried googling it but there seems to be too many differing opinions of what it is. No problems getting online just seems a bit slower. I have the 3gs iphone.
thanks
