Re: [apple-iphone] AT&T axes unlimited data, unveils tethering price
Dave I am with you... whether I use AT&T bandwidth on my phone or my laptop whats the issue... I surf the iPhone just like a laptop at times. I think they might call it a "convenience" issue...

In PCWORLD today is said that tethering -- a $20/month option -- will
also require a contract extension and shares the same 2 GB/month. Why
would they charge this? Pure greed. 2 GB is 2 GB, so where it is going
(to an iPhone or laptop) has no effect on the network.
I was planning on getting the 3G but now will wait to see what shakes
out in the market place. Apple really needs to consider a divorce from
AT&T.
