Hi Everyone - Periodically, with my iphone 3GS with os 3.1.2 and now 4.0,
after syncing the phone I go to the ipod app and find that I have no content
even though the content shows when I look at the iphone through Itunes. I
have to resync and then it appears again.

Today I tried two times to sync after rebooting the computer and the phone
and still no content. In case other people have this problem, I had just
downloaded memory sweep so I thought maybe something was overwhelmed. I
ran the moderate action on memory sweep and voila my content was now visible
without resyncing my phone. the initial free memory showed 14 mb. After
the moderate action I had 100mb free.

Does low free memory prevent recognition of the ipod content? If so, I
have gotten an amazingly quick return on investment using memory sweep.
thank you for that recommendation to speed up the 3GS. It has helped me with a
long term sporadic issue.
