The Reader

I already have a notes program that syncs (poorly) with Google notes.
It's called "Memos" by BlueMarbleSoftware. I didn't read their fine
print. What I'm looking for is a Notes program that will sync with my
Mac, I don't want to share tons of sensitive account information with
the "cloud" and hope they are never hacked. Is there such a thing?
