It's been great to monitor this group to hear about everyone's experiences lately with the OS4 release...I thought i'd share mine...

I did the upgrade to OS4 on my 3G last Monday..i must admit i wasn't happy initially because performance slowed to a crawl, i had very little free memory, and the upgrade looked like it took about 2GB of space.

After reading the early reports, i did a restore, and that seemed to help some(and recovered the 2GB of space)...but i still had very little free memory and unfortunately the "Free Memory" utility which has been a live savor at times, apparently isn't os4 ready yet.

I was getting frustrated with the MLB At-Bat app not working in background mode, but an update came out this week for the app...works fine now.

I also finally set my folders up on Friday...i must admit, going from like 7 pages of apps to 3 is really nice! also for some reason, i don't know if this is related, but setting up the folders seemed to have reduced some of the sluggishness.

I have also found another free app...called Memory Sweep...which IS restoring available memory to my 3G!
