The problem I am having, which admittedly could be my phone or the lot of
phones mine was in is that if I don't have a bumper (or case on) and I touch
both antennas at once I 'short out' the signals - I get "NO SERVICE" (voice
or data) - putting a bumper or case on the phone completely solves my issue
and while I would have bought a case anyway, effectively adds $29 to the
price of the phone by forcing (at least those with the same problem) to have
a case. I don't just lose a bar or two, I go from 5 to NO SERVICE...
