Re: [apple-iphone] Deleted app still giving reminders

Calle,

I read the description in the App Store and it says nothing about push notices. Push notification would mean it uses email or an internet connection, and the description specifically says it does not rely on a internet connection.

It looks like a variation of the clock and alarm app native to the iPhone. I have found that many of the 3rd party apps that use the alarm function interfere with the basic alarm functions and tend to disable each other.

The developer has only one app in the App Store and his site is a single page on sites.goolge. English is a second language for him, I'm guessing he is French. His email to you contradicted what the App Store description claims, and he has no reviews, and he is on version 1.1 posted July 18th.

If the developer can not troubleshoot his own app, and deleting it does not remove it and re-installing it give you a blank page, then I would:

- make an appointment with the Genius Bar or call Apple Support if you have AppleCare for the 3GS

or

- read and follow the Apple instructions on how to delete the application from the iPhone __and__ iTunes
- back up your iPhone and all the other data created on the iPhone,
- then Restore the iPhone (to factory settings, without any 3rd party apps or content)
- then add back your data and purchased apps, without Med Reminder.

The last step is for you to write a review of the good and bad aspects of the app and what you went through to remove it, when it did not suit your needs. You might want to send a feedback to http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

Sorry, I can not give a more constructive answer, other than to warn others of your issues.
