Yup I surf often.. checking web mail.. and it really sucks down the battery... lets face it, its a mini computer, and video graphics will consume battery life... I am finally accepting this. I too wondered why I had to charge it daily...

I agree. If you use your iPhone for anything other that talking, you'll need to charge daily.

I doubt anyone has an iPhone with a battery that will last for weeks.
Charging every day is normal.
