Re: [apple-iphone] itunes profiles and settings
Actually, you don't have to. (except for music videos where yo have to categorically identify them as Music Video under Get Info > Options).
Just drag everything from your iTunes to an external drive (a flash drive perhaps).
Then from that external drive, select all and drag them to your new computer's iTunes.
It'll process everything as it was on the old computer and names remain the same (except play count, date added, other dates, etc.)
You, however, have to re-identify your music videos as such as it will go under Movies by default. But that would be easy.
Hope I helped.

Subject: [apple-iphone] itunes profiles and settings
When I first set up iTunes and had it find my music, I had to do a LOT of
editing of all the fields so the album name, artist, genre and all the stuff
was correct. Now that I'm switching over to a new computer, I really don't
want to go through all that again. Is there some file of iTunes settings
that I can transfer over that contains such things? What else do I need to
do to make the transition smooth?
