A school buys licenses for textbooks - at considerably less than the cost of the cut-tree products - and the students load them on their iPads.
A company makes all of its tech-support documentation available for iPad for their support staff.
Nurse commutes to work reading newspaper on iPad, logs in to the hospital's system, then does all her charting electronically in forms on the iPad.
