Yes, I used a Case Logic ballistic nylon zippered case designed for a camera which I found at Sears. It also has a zippered pocket which I use to store my Jawbone ICON bluetooth headset. It costs 10 bucks and comes with a caribiner to attach to anything. I carry it in my front pocket.

Thank you for the suggestion, but this did not work. I did have another
calendar listed in Outlook, but it was empty. I deleted it, but iTunes
still does not sync newly created appointments.

Deutsche Bank analyst says thereâs no return to BlackBerry after i

Sent to you by Bill Boulware via Google Reader: Deutsche Bank analyst
says there ¢â' '¹s no return to BlackBerry after iPhone trial ¢â' ¦ via 9 to 5 Mac
by Jonny Evans on 1/25/11
Proving good products do their own marketing Apple ¢â' '¹s taken a giant
thumbs-up from its growing enterprise market with no less than Deutsche
Bank declaring there ¢â' '¹s ¢â' '¼no going back ¢â' '½ to BlackBerry after an
¢â' '¼overwhelmingly positive ¢â' '½ iPhone trial.
The bank had been testing Apple ¢â' '¹s iPad internally. Deutsche Bank Equity
Research ¢â' '¹s Chris Whitmore says it has been running a two month trial of
iPhones using Good Technology ¢â' '¹s secure e-mail application.
The email solution uses Microsoft Exchange through a custom interface
which makes the process seem similar to using a Gmail account on an
iPhone, and the experience has been so good the company is convinced.
The result ¢â' '¼was a fantastic experience as it was easier/faster to
access data (touch UI) than on the Blackberry. It was also great to
only have to carry one device for personal and corporate email access, ¢â' '½
Whitemire told FinExtra.
There ¢â' '¹s some criticism regarding background email downloading and some
of status message alerts, despite which ¢â' '¼positives far outweigh ¢â' '½ these.
Whitmore says there ¢â' '¹s no going back after the trials and suggest there
will be large deployments of the Apple devices across the bank.
80 per cent of Fortune 100 enterprises are deploying or have deployed
the iPad according to Apple ¢â' '¹s COO Tim Cook.
Other banks testing iPhones at present include Bank of America, Citi,
JP Morgan Chase, Standard Chartered and UBS. Which is very bad news for
BlackBerry ¢â' '´ and good news too for the iPad ¢â' ¦

Verizon iPhone Gets $30 Unlimited Data for Limited Time

Sent to you by Bill Boulware via Google Reader: Verizon iPhone Gets $30
Unlimited Data for Limited Time via Wired: Gadget Lab by Brian X. Chen
on 1/25/11
Verizon has confirmed the details of its iPhone data pricing: $30 per
month for unlimited data ¢â' '´ and the offer ¢â' '¹s only valid for a limited
time.
The news comes from Verizon CEO Lowell McAdam, who told The Wall Street
Journal that if Verizon offered only a limited data plan, it would be a
roadblock for AT&T customers thinking about switching to Verizon.
¢â' '¼I ¢â' '¹m not going to shoot myself in the foot, ¢â' '½ McAdam told WSJ.
AT&T originally offered an unlimited data plan to iPhone customers for
$30 per month, but later the company switched to a tiered pricing
structure. The biggest AT&T data plan you can buy is 2 GB for $25 per
month; more data will cost $10 per extra gigabyte.
An unlimited data plan on Verizon offers an incentive for AT&T
customers to defect. However, McAdams added that an iPhone unlimited
plan will be a temporary offer and Verizon will eventually transition
to tiered data pricing like AT&T.
While we await a Verizon iPhone to hit stores on Feb. 10, Bloomberg is
already reporting a rumor about the next-generation iPhone. Citing a
consultant who claims he has connections with Apple engineers,
Bloomberg says the iPhone 5 will have near-field communication
technology that can be used for over-the-air payments. Corroborating
the rumor, Apple recently hired an NFC expert as a product manager for
mobile commerce.

I have iPhone 4.
I am planning to buy a printer which will print wirelessly.
My major work with computer is to scan paper documents and email them as well as receive the doucments by email and print them out.
Since I want to do this work using iphhone, I am looking for printer with scanner.
Also since I plan to buy the printer by mail i.e. without testing it, I want to be sure that ¦ I can scan too wirelessly.
Please let me know if any of you have used any model for this work and share the experience.

I had this situation in here Germany and I was worried that it had to do with being in different country with a U.S. iTunes account and credit card. Ultimately, I just re-entered all the numbers for the credit card, and the 3 digit code, and everything worked just fine. did that from the iphone itself not on the computer.

Re: Finding FREE Audiobooks

If I access my local library's website for Overdrive using my iPhone I only
see the audio books that are available in mp3s. I haven't bothered to go
through any extra steps to download and convert wma files on the desktop.
The same goes for the ebooks that are available. I just use the service as
another source for books. It would be nice if publishers loosened up some
constraints to what devices books were available like you mentioned.
Another change I would like to see is the lending period for books to be
longer than 14 days. For the books that I've checked out 14 days has been
the lending period at my library but I would either like it a week longer or
an easy way to recheck out materials.
Nonetheless, I'm happy that there is an electronic version of library books
available. I would think this will only getting better as time goes on.

Thanks so much for all the answers and advise from all of you that sent
something in. I really want to get this phone. What I have now got to
decide is do I wait until May when I can just re-do my plan or do I add
another line and go ahead and get it when it comes out!!!! I know that I
should wait, but not sure I can! lol
I had such a bad experience with my last phone. I made a mistake and bought
it at the State Fair when they were in town. I told him that all I wanted
it to do was stream Netflix. Not knowing anything about that type "stuff",
I just got the phone he told me would do it. It's a great phone, it just
won't do the one thing that I ask him that it would be able to do. The
phone is a LG Ally. I just put it back in the box and started using my old
phone. They said they would take it back, just call this guy and he would
send me a box and I could sent it back. But, he never would call
me back. rofl
Anyway, don't suppose any of you out there would happen to know anything
about that phone. I don't think there is an app or whatever it would take
to stream Netflix for the LG Ally phone?
Thanks again to all of you. I will hope there will be lots of post on
different things, so that I can learn a little about the iPhone before I get
it. (Can't wait!)
Just me!
Anne

If your contract is up in May, I would wait one additional month. Apple has offered a new iPhone each June. Yes it's hard to wait and life is short. Up to you,
Mark
