Verizon iPhone

Since I am a Verizon subscriber and Verizon is going to be releasing its own version of iPhone I am considering getting it but I have several questions about it.
1. Will it have a SIM card like AT&T iPhone?
2. Can the iPhone be unlocked and be used with a different (local) SIM card or is it locked to that particular SIM card.
The reason that I am asking is that when we traveled to Europe last summer my Verizon/Motorola phone was useless outside USA since it did not have a SIM card. Since Verizon uses different technology (CDMA) than its competitors I relied on my wife's T-Mobile phone. After unlocking and buying a local SIM card it was ready to use.
Will I be able to do the same thing as I did with my wife's T-mobile phone after unlocking and putting a local SIM card or will the phone try to reset itself to a new #/SIM card and do the same thing again once I put the original SIM card back into the phone after coming back to USA.
When I was in the Verizon store last week I was told that some of their Blacberry's and Droids have SIM card. Since they do, do those phones work on a duel system since Verizon uses CDMA technology.
So if anybody has any answer to my questions I will appreciate the answers. Thank you.

The Verizon iPhone does not have a SIM card, and it is not a world phone. Your experience with overseas travel will be the same as with your old Verizon phone.

Same answers here, as you got on the iomug list. Asking here, won't change the answer you got there.
The Verizon iPhone will be CDMA, will not have a SIM card and won't work in Europe.

Hi Norma,
You can transfer directly to iTunes and then sync with the iPhone.
In the Tivo Transfer (I'm assuming this is still it, I have an older
version of Toast), select Toast It. This will launch the DVD burning
application. In that app, select all the recordings you want to put
into iTunes and select Export rather than Burn. When you select
Export, it will give you multiple options on how you want to export
it - i.e. for Apple TV, iPhone, iPods, etc.

Finding FREE Audiobooks
Posted by: "Book_of_Hezekiah" book_of_hezekiah_10_26@yahoo.com book_of_hezekiah_10_26

I tried a few apps that were supposedly about free audiobooks. One had some good titles, but only a handful available every month (or week), no catalog. Another couple were filled with advertisements, and nothing for free.
I've thought that there's a ton of classic, public domain, and other books out there. Am I wrong? Are there apps or websites for this? (I don't need to organize or modify or even get book cover images.)
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Tapping with no result
Posted by: "Book_of_Hezekiah" book_of_hezekiah_10_26@yahoo.com book_of_hezekiah_10_26

There are a few applications where I tap, Tap, TAP, my finger on the screen multiple times with no result. Some of this has to do with calling up the Copy/Cut/Select All command. Also when I try to invoke the Google search bar from within Safari.
But the one that I am really hoping to fix is End Call button. I've been embarrassed a few times when I realize a voice mail message is still being recorded some time after I thought I'd concluded it.
I'm aware that temperature can inhibit responses, but problem comes up indoors as well.
I have a seamless screen cover inside an Otter Box. This is not new--nothing has changed--and the screen protector is as tight as can be; without air bubbles.
Any ideas?

Camera function "crashes" in seconds

Lately when I tap on the camera feature, I may get the "closed iris," even if there is changing light or movement (which I suppose is what opens the iris normally). In just seconds, the feature disappears and I'm at my home screen.
Or the iris opens but the camera function "crashes" within seconds.
Any help?
