If I purchase an app with my iphone, would that be in the new mac app store automatically? Furthermore, If I uninstall an from my phone and within itunes, would that app also deleted from the mac app store? Is uninstalling an app from the mac store same as the apps within itunes where I use to sync with my iphone?

No, what you purchase from the Mac App Store is for your computer. What you purchase from the "old" App Store through iTunes is for your iPod, iPhone and/ or iPad, not your Mac.

Hi group,
Is there a way to transfer the apps I have downloaded directly from the app store on my iPhone, to the laptop? I will be getting a new iphone and some of the apps were paid apps free for a day, so can I somehow transfer them to my laptop or even to the new iPhone?

Once you have a downloaded an ap it's been noted to your account in the ap store. You may download this to as many devices as you desire with the same ap store a/c. They will remain with you until deleted.

Automatic Battery Management?

Has anyone found an iPhone equivalent of "Juice Defender" for the Android? I have a good friend with a 'droid and he raves about it's automatic battery management capabilities. I looked it up on their site and, for example:
"JuiceDefender is the solution: it intelligently and transparently manages for you mobile connectivity and other battery-sensitive components. Be online when you actually need it - save battery when you don't!"
I have not been able to find an iPhone equivalent. Is it built into iOS 4?
Thanks,
Bob

Also,
Once you have iTunes installed on your new machine, you may copy your
program from the old machine.
