I've said the same about the latest SIMs. Aren't they already tiny enough?
They have to be made and mailed as part of a larger card. If they get much
smaller we'll all need microscopes to see them and install them. Any why
aren't they built-in anyway as flash memory that can be updated via USB or
wifi as required?

Some aspects of the mobile phone industry just don't make a lot of sense.
