Just give this a thought,
If apple was intending to create a big "iphone/itouch" why didn't they think of having things that the previous once that doesn't have? like a "flash player", "Multi-tasking feature" "MS Office-like apps" etc.
Review what Steve said, "you can upload your previous apps to your iPad" yeah, its great but, what gives? in the video, he was demonstrating that you can read the latest news on the internet. But, haven't you noticed? no flash player.. you can still see the "blue box" icon.. (you can see the video in youtube, fyi) same in our iphone/itouch gadgets....

Hope that you are hearing or seeing this out before you release that in March / April...
I tell you, you'll have a better market if you have these in iPad.

Well, I must admit I did not read all the replies, so if I repeat something, please excuse ...
I would like to say that I view the iPad as a representative of the way of the future ... where all computer software and apps will be run from the internet ... for example, Google docs, etc. Generally the younger programmers and developers see computing from internet the way things are moving. In that sense, the iPad follows that trend using the apps, online stores and such.
I recall a mention of iWork for the iPad being discussed yesterday ... so I assume Apple will have desktop applications of sorts similar to what we have used on our Macs, available for the iPad.
:-) Just my thoughts ... I will be getting a couple of these devices I feel sure as I am a die-hard Apple fan from way back.
