Re: [apple-iphone] 3G phone

There are others that have and are more well versed than me on the 3G.

Enter your original voicemail PIN and the re-occuring request for it will go away, and your old VM listings will return. If you do not remember the PIN, then call AT&T (611) and have them reset it for you. It was way back when when you set it and have not used it since.

No sound for text alerts, have you turned off the phone, or reset it using the sleep button and the Home button?

Others will advise you on the general slowness, but it is questionable if the 3G should have been allowed to upgrade because of this.

They will need more information to resolve the freezes, unless it is during Mail.app. Turn off the threading in Mail and keep the number of emails downloaded low and if this is where you are seeing the freeze.

Good luck.
