The price is relative, it is inline with Apple's other overpriced items - IE
the charge brick and headphones are also $29 and USB cable is $19 - all of
which are available at Monoprice for ~$2 - if those were actually the values
that is $77 with a new iPhone - actual cost to make is probably less than $2
for all 3.
