TY for the info Bill! I checked my upgrade status a few weeks ago (bought my 3gs in July 2009) and it gave me a date of sometime in 2011 before I was eligible for upgrade. After seeing your post I went & checked again & this is what it says today:

According to many reports, AT&T subscriptions that weren't eligible for
phone upgrades until all the way in November have been expedited to
