in encoding settings in preferences, you can set mp3, aac, apple
lossless, etc. its there, where on a pc idk, but on a macintosh its
in a menu called "Preferences" in the "general" tab and push the
import settings button to get to the place to change from mp3 to aac
or lossless or maybe on a pc wma
