Whoopee! They make is sound like this is new and unusual. My Windows
laptop running Boingo will also auto-join a network that it knows. So
will lots of WiFi enabled devices. I haven't tried spoofing a known
spot by renaming my WiFi system, but I imagine that it will do the same
thing, just join. This is kind of a known WiFi "gotcha" and why you
should be careful when using a "foreign" WiFi hotspot. I hope the
spoofer enjoys looking at pages of robotics toys and my LinkedIn page.
