Re: [apple-iphone] Calendar app or ???
Hi Vishel - I am a little confused I don't like the iphone calendar so I
sought a calendar as close to datebook as I could. Pocket informant was
very very similar to datebook. By the same token - google can't hold a candle
to Pimlical as far as versatility and eye appeal. I use Pimlical rather
than google on my desktop. So when I could sync each to google it made my
life a lot easier. Someone else may not find one or the other programs
useful or worth it. There I can understand your method of direct iphone to
google sync. Your method is probably the simplest I agree.
Thanks again for suggesting a simpler way.

I'm saying that setup Google as exchange. If you want to go direct to
Google
the give it a try, if you don't like it then remove it.

Hi Vishel - I don't have an exchange account so I can't use your
method. I had been using datebook for the palm which synced with
Pimlical from the same company. When I got the iPhone I found it easy
to migrate pimlical to google so that the only comparable app to
datebook, for the iPhone, pocket informant, could be synced to the
desktop.
Thanks for your suggestion. I am sure there are myriad ways to do the
same things.
Hope it helps Lynn.
