Im sorry, yes as I said in my initial email, I am borrowing someone else's
lap top and she has her itunes installed on it and her music, etc. I have
my own itunes that I set up and was wondering if I could download it to
this computer without interference

You are borrowing someone else's laptop, yes?

Are you using the owner's user or did they set up a user for you?
