I know, I got ripped off, when I was getting the phone, but that's the price u have to pay, if u don't buy from Europe / Canada! In one shop, I was actually insulted for burgaining for a i4, they were asking $1800 for! It is a region where u can burgain, and the price, I quoted was not as ridiculous as the one the man quoted! $1200 for a16gb sound like a price u should b insulted for? The man retorted with, suppose I want to buy your house for $100, then he pointed to my 22k gold bangles and a 18k ruby and diamond bangles I was wearing and wanted to buy those for $5! He told me, that's how much a iPhone cost, without a contract! I told him, I knew what an iPhone with a contract cost, also how much one without, should cost, and I was not joking with him and left the shop! U see I did badly want a iphone 4 but the way they were behaving, I could not be sure, if it was not a Chinese fake, that might not work at all! I mean come on, most prices quoted was
for a 16gb, which I found out when I asked for a 32gb and ranged from $1500 to $2000. 32gb none of them could actually show me but was asked to pay $2800! If what I payed for the 32gb 3gs was a rip off, what would u call that? Anyway just got back to my country from Singapore, can't return the 3gs! Don't want to either, working fine without the upgrade! If I can successfully upgrade and buy apps, then I won't mind being ripped off! That's the price for being born on the other side of the world! You US citizens don't know how much better off you all are even with the 2 year contract! I don't know when I maybe flying off to Europe/ Canada or even Australia as I don't know when I can get time off to travel! And there is the problem of the microsim also, which is not yet available with any of our service providers! So I had to settle for the 3gs!
