Yes that proves the phone is unlocked, I know that! The first iPhone I got was also unlocked! I could load music and videos with iTunes, make calls and SMS. But a software on the phone warned me not to connect to apple or try to upgrade, or my phone would get permanently locked! U see a phone which is unlocked by anyone other than apple can b used but not upgraded and I didn't even dare buy apps from iTunes! So what fun is a iPhone without all that? But I still loved my phone and wanted no other, not even a windows phone my hubby got for me! I just love iPhone and would like to use it to it's fullest capacity! I'm using my 32gb 3gs now! This mail is being sent through it!
