[apple-iphone] Resetting and G|etting Data Back

Wednesday, July 7, 2010 6:23 AM By Livemail

Hi,

My iPhone 3G is becoming increasingly slow.
I'll be getting an iPhone 4 as soon as there is stock but one thing I'd like
to do is to reset my iPhone 3G as new to see if I get some speed back.
I can easily do this via iTunes and re-load my apps, music etc. No problem.

However, I want to preserve my app data.
If I reset my iPhone as new and then add my apps back I will presumably lose
the data associated with them.
The sort of data I'm talking about is todos in Appigo Todo or high scores
etc in games.
With Todo I can sync and then sync back. No problem.

But what about things that don't have a non-iTunes sync eg games. Is there
any way to preserve this data if I do the reset?

Thanks,

Sid
