[apple-iphone] Re: 3G phone
Further to my message no. 37107, I have discovered a far more serious problem since installing the new software. Checking through the future in my Calendar, the iPhone is duplicating the "All-day" entries in the list of the day's appointments, and they do not delete. Many of them give no option to delete at all. Others, if deleted, reappear when the next "Sync" is performed. While my "all day" entries are not too profuse (mostly birthdays), I know five people with the same birthday, and that day, in my iPhone, is a shambolic kaleidoscope of entries from 0.00 to 23.59 - AND I CAN'T GET RID OF THEM - they just come back. Some will say it's better than data loss, but, believe me, there are also many other days in the year which are almost unreadable because of the profuse entries
Please - how do I get the old OS back? There has to be a way. This new OS is a total disaster. It is very apparent that it is unable to handle recurring appointments in MS Outlook. The old OS messed up some of them, but not to this degree

The Calendar is no faster than before the restore - it needs 20-30 seconds to display the current day fully, and a change of date or type of display can do the same. I too wish I had not updated the software, and, as I said in a previous thread, anyone watching me would not want to buy an iPhone. Everything was more or less instantaneous before the new software went in, though it is very clear to me that the iPhone software and MS Outlook are not as compatible as they are made out to be, though I am living with that.
