My 3G remains a shambles after installing the new software, and that's after a <Restore> and then a couple of <Syncs> (it needs more than one <Sync> before it gets it all correct). The Calendar is no faster than before the restore - it needs 20-30 seconds to display the current day fully, and a change of date or type of display can do the same. I too wish I had not updated the software, and, as I said in a previous thread, anyone watching me would not want to buy an iPhone. Everything was more or less instantaneous before the new software went in, though it is very clear to me that the iPhone software and MS Outlook are not as compatible as they are made out to be, though I am living with that.
