[apple-iphone] How to add mac calendar to iphone

Hi..

I have a mac pro and I am trying to sync my calendar on my iPhone to my
calendar program which came with my mac pro. I tested the connection by typing my birthday dates on my mac calendar. When I sync them, nothing happens..

Any suggestions??
