Re: [apple-iphone] problems with my iphone 3GS
Not sure about the technical stuff but I do know you have a 1 year warranty from date of purchase unless you purchase the apple protection plan if so then you have two yrs

I've been experiencing quite a lot of 'apple screens' with my 3GS. It seems to occur after I load on numerous new apps and then try to find them via the search spotlight page. The iPhone goes into a crashed like stage, with the apple screen seeming to be frozen. After about 6 minutes it reboots.
Last night it did this 3 times in a row. I tried resetting and then restoring from latest backup. That has not helped. I would like to try, totally wiping everything off my iPhone and reloading everything from scratch using iTunes (apps, music, photos) and syncing bookmarks, calendar, contacts using mobile me.
How would one suggest that I do this? Just thought I'd try one more time before I take it into the AT&T Store. I bought the phone in the fall 2009, so I believe it is still under warranty.
Thanks
Joan
