Re: [apple-iphone] Any way to `customize' Auto-Lock timing?

I used to experience the same frustration. Ultimately, I set mine to
never auto-lock and got into the habit of tapping the power button to
lock it.

It took me a few days to get used to remembering to hit the button
when I'm done looking at it, and yes I did run my battery down a
couple times in the process when I stuck it in my pocket without
hitting the power button, but now I don't even have to think about it
as it's second nature. In fact, I'd almost go so far as to say it's
muscle memory because I often lock it when I change focus for a few
seconds and then have to enter my pin to unlock it.

It works well for me as I can have it going for navigation or whatever
and not have to worry about it timing out and locking on me.
