Nope, if you have an Apple or AT&T store in your state, you will have to pay
tax for an online purchase.

If you have that email, print it out and take it with you. You might get
lucky, or they may say it's too late. Either way, it's worth asking!

Since they are still shipping the cases (I just got mine today), then I
would imagine that they will ship you one.
