iTunes Password
Posted by: "sharonx9" sharonx9@gmail.com sharonx1972

I clicked the tab for iTunes to remember my password because it got annoying but now it remembers it even when purchasing and I'm afraid I'll purchase something accidentally.
How can I make it not remember the password again so that I do have to enter it every time?
Thanks.

Sign out (within iTunes), and sign back in, without checking that box.

When I sign out and back in, it doesn't give me the *remember password* option.

As I recall, when I *first* signed in, the checkbox wasn't there, but the *next* time I went to download an App update - usually after a reboot, or at least after restarting iTunes, THEN it asked.

Among other things, downloading a several-hundred megabyte file when the servers are busy....

There was a thread about a problem with iTunes 10 not importing CDs.
I spend time yesterday importing a bunch music CDs into iTunes 10
without a problem. I run Windows 7 Professional on a Dell laptop
computer. I have iOS 4.01 on my iPhone 3 Gs.
