There is no virus on your phone.

Try using another mail service.

Forward your mail to gmail after you set up an account there.

Gmail also has a spam filter and I bet it will capture the spam from cox.

It is most certainly spam that is not captured by Cox filters.

This morning in an attempt to delete the e-mails, I found that I couldn't. I would make an attempt and when I got to a certain mail or one beyond that one, I immediately was taken back to the home screen, with nothing deleted! I called Apple support. Spent some time reconfiguring my email. Then the tech said she would talk with others and could I wait. I waited, and waited, and waited. I waited an hour. When I had enough, I called back only to find out they were now closed! Anyhow, I am thinking that there is a virus on my phone. I know Apple prides themselves in being virus free, but is there a possibility? I cannot delete any of the emails. Not even those that are not SPAM!

I delete by accident all the time. The thing with those non deleteable aps is this: you just removed it from the bottom bar. The app is somewhere on your phone. Typically I think there is mail, phone, safari and IPod.

Just find it and drop it back. You can also put something else there - I have messaging instead of IPod because ibises it way more.

Hope this helps

The 4th one is Safari. I didn't know these could be removed either.

Have you tried a restart? Hold the sleep/wake button at the top and the Home
button down together until the Apple logo appears, then let go.

Chances are you moved one of them to some other screen. You can put any
icon on the home bar. Check around, I bet you'll find the missing icon.

Can you see Safari anywhere? If so, hold it until the apps wobble and drag
it back to the bottom. (Just tried this for the first time and it works. I
thought the 4 in the bottom bar were fixed until now.)

You can't delete those built-ins (or the new "game center") but you can move
them. As others have said, look around on all your screens. You can put
anything you want on the dock (bottom) bar, just as you can rearrange what's
on each screen (or, with iOS4, in folders).

You can't. But you can move apps off and on the Dock exactly the same
way you can move apps around from screen to screen. Hold any icon
until they wiggle, then move them around. The Dock holds up to four
icons.

Will Google sync contacts with categories (groups)?

My experience was I lost all my grouping when I tried doing it back when I used a blackberry.

That happened to me only in Greek.
I had to go into Settings to change the Language back to English (Anglais).
But, it sounds like you did that?

Try changing the Hardware Keyboard Layout in Keyboards to British
Or changing the Region Format in International to United Kingdom

Yes - that's the answer, Archie. Thanks to all those who
have answered. I had clearly missed totally that the intention of the Settings was to be able to simply toggle between the languages and keyboards. All is now well.

No doubt I shall be back soon with another issue!

Thanks to everyone who has helped with this and with my other postings

Holding the top and Home buttons down together has no effect at all, even if

Okay -- I have a GMail account and tried signing up for Google Voice but
kept getting the error message: "We had an error. Please try later." I began
checking the Internet and it seems this problem has a long history. Google
support said as far back as June 2010 they were working on the problem. It
is now the end of September. How much longer are they going to be working on
the problem? Anyone else having a problem signing up?

Sonos introduces Wireless Dock for multiroom wireless iPod enjoyment

Sent to you by Bill Boulware via Google Reader: Sonos introduces
Wireless Dock for multiroom wireless iPod enjoyment via Boy Genius
Report by Boy Genius on 9/23/10

You know we love us some Sonos gear around these parts, and Sonos'
latest announcement definitely caught our attention. Today at CEDIA,
Sonos introduced the Sonos Wireless Dock. Its purpose? To let you
inject all of your tunes from your iPod or iPhone seamlessly into your
existing Sonos wireless network. This means regardless of however many
zones you have set up, all of your music will be instantly, and of
course wirelessly accessible. While there's a good chance you'd have
most of the music you'd want to play from your iPod already on your
computer, and your computer already hooked up to the Sonos network, the
product makes sense if you're a notebook type of guy (something not
always connected), or if you have a bunch of guests that come over.
Just plug in their iPod and you're rockin' out. It launches "by the end
of October" for $119.

stuff with. Right now a level 7 with five habitats and ten awards.

And no, I have nothing to do with the devs or the game, just playing
it. Kinda nice to play a no-pressure game. No quick reflexes or
negative consequences if you don't get a chance to play for a day or
two. Just strategy in breeding frog lineages to get the desired
results for more awards.

I'm have ListPro and am now looking at HanDBase as well, but I'm a little
puzzled at all the available downloads. I have downloaded the trial version
of Windows Desktop (on sale for $14.99), but am confused about the Windows
Desktop Plus version for the iPhone, which I believe is an add-on, but
really expensive. Just what is that version, as it is over double the price
of the standard Windows version, so it cannot be just the addition of the
iPhone App.

I have not yet purchased the iPhone App for HanDBase, just in case there is
a package deal I should take advantage of, but most of those are highly
priced for some reason.

Thanks for your help.

I don't know what the difference is. You need to see if they explain it somewhere.
I would suggest you simply buy the basic desktop, and then get the app from the Appstore.

I think the pro version will allow syncing with microsoft access (much like

The desktop sync works perfectly which is unusual.

In my particular opinion this is the best:

Can you solve it (Search in APP STORE) is free!

I did in 26s - WORLD RECORD and my video is here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUsVY3E3NFQ

Enjoy!

WORKS ONLY IN FIRMWARE 3.0 OR HIGHER
************************************

CAN YOU SOLVE IT?

The oldest and most difficult puzzle ever! Are you smart enough to solve it? Antique civilizations used to use this puzzle to measure people intelligence. Only 1% of population is able to solve this puzzle, are you inside this minority? Try to solve it now!

All you have to do is to take the red square out of the box. You need more than 80 moves to do it! CAN YOU SOLVE IT?

Sincerely yours,
