Re: [apple-iphone] iTunes question
Agreed, she did not make it clear if she is signed in as the owner, or as another user.
If she is using the owner's sign in, then there are software issues, authorization issues, and copyright issues of both music and software.
If the owner set her up with a new user account, then there are just the software issues or questions to deal with.
After that, where is her iTunes data, especially her iphone back up is, since that was what she was talking about and not music.
If her laptop is only going to be gone for less than a week, or even if it is going to be gone for a couple of weeks, I don't know that it is worth the effort, just to make a few adjustments on her iPhone. Apple is very good in short turn arounds for repairs.
I can not think of an adjustment that can't be made on the iPhone itself. Yes, some are easier on the computer, but not in this case.
Of course, that is assuming that it is an Apple laptop, and that she sent it into Apple. But we like to play guessing games on this list, because almost no one tells us the hardware or OS that they are using or having a problem with. This is not an Apple only list, and a lot of you use Windows, so we have to keep making wild guesses.
