Hello All,

My iPhone 3G is off contract now and I have asked my Telco in Australia,
Optus to unlock the iPhone.

They have to make a change to my Network Settings, then I have to restore my
iPhone in iTunes after making a Backup of course.

How do I know the unlocking has occurred?

What is actually changed on the iPhone?

The Telco Optus, said if I put someone else¹s SIM Card in, and it works, I
will know the Phone is unlocked.

Any other way of knowing?
