The most you can find out is by opening the message and then selecting View

though.

Another mail question

Is there any way to turn off the unified email inboxes?

When I go into my mail program, I have a list of inboxes at the top, then a list of accounts below. I do not want or need this redundancy.

Can I turn that off?

No! Now that I know it is a No Sender, No Subject email. I can answer this one.

Go into Settings> Mail, Contacts, Calendars> scroll down to Organize by Thread and turn it off. All of the No Sender emails will now show a Sender and Subject and can be deleted.

The cause is the way that Mail on the iPhone handles email where the emails where someone has stolen a thread. In other words, instead of starting a new email from scratch, they clicked reply and then changed the subject line. If you don't believe me look at the emails on your computer, Mac or PC, and match them up with Threading on (on the iPhone) and then turn off the Threading. Bingo those No Senders are gone and the email that were missing before are suddenly there.

I don't think these messages actually exist. I think it is a glitch
in the iPhone Mail software. If I look at the message list on the
web-server they don't exist nor do they exist on other computers
where I download the mail to. However, resetting the phone always
makes them disappear.

It doesn't happen very often so I haven't really investigated why it
does.

Just click on the App Store icon and try a few searches. Many useful apps
are free.

As of October 2010, the iTunes App Store contained over 300,000 applications, and 7 billion downloads. Thus, answering your question could become quickly unmanageable.

iPhone users often familiarize themselves with the App Store simply by browsing the categories, either in iTunes (look in the left-hand column) or in the iPhone itself. There is a pre-installed app for the App Store.

I think most folks find some free games to play on their iPhones while waiting for appointments, etc. And many users download free general use apps like Google, Yahoo, or Wikipedia. But beyond this, your individual interests will dictate the apps you want to download.

That said, here are my five favorite free apps:
Words With Friends
Wikipedia
Google Earth
AroundMe
RedLaser

I have an old G4 Mac with a bunch of photos in iPhoto. I'd like to get them over onto my iMac, make some movies/slideshows, and put on my iPhone. Can someone suggest how to move the photos over to iMac? Copy the whole user>Pictures folder onto a DVD and copy onto iMac?

You could do that, or thumb drive, or

use an Ethernet cable or WiFi and network them, or

use USB or Firewire and use Target Mode.

Pick your poison.

Me.com not working on iPhone 4

We bought an iPhone 4 last night, brought it home and authorized it, sync'ed and everything looked fine.  Email showed up and worked, calendars and contacts.  Seemed to work this am, as well.

Now, I don't see the email account even as an option.  The calendar is selected but no events show.  All the contacts show.

In the Settings, under the MobileMe account, I see the word 'Inactive'.  Not a good sign.  Selecting it shows none of the usual 'options'.  Only the email name and the choice to Delete it.

I've tried deleting and then recreating.  I'm getting the same results.

Frustrating.

Any suggestions?
David

Call AppleCare ASAP. if you wait until after Christmas you could face a long hold time. They were very helpful and helped me solve a couple of newby issues when Zi first bought my IPhone.
