Has anyone tried to set up a voicemail password and then enter it once the pop up comes just enter the password? I've had the pop up appear on my phone and I just entered the password that I have to enter when I check my voicemail from a phone other than my iPhone. After that, the pop up went away.

Thank you for your input tremaine and Trend Setta.
I solved the problem on my iphone 4 in a slightly different way by tapping the settings icon on the main screen. Then tap the phone icon on the menu. Scroll down to change voicemail password. You have to enter your old password, the your new password twice. If you don't know your old password, you can get it changed and a new one texted to you by dialing 611, and choosing 1, then 3 and 3 again following the voice prompts.

You can download a free app called YouMail and you can designate certain numbers to receive a message that says your number has been disconnected.
