On a PC using Vista. The only other program I'll use with iTunes is Amazon's
downloader when purchasing music off Amazon.

Are you using a Mac or a PC? Do you have any other software to import or
copy music to your computer?

I'm stumped at this point, since I am a Mac user. If a Windows user on this list can not help, I would suggest making an appointment with the Apple Genius Bar, if there is one near you. Or search the Apple Discussions lists at Apple.

I think what you are seeing is a conflict between a third party app and iTunes, but I am not familiar with PC 3rd party software.

What is the removal tool for duplicates in Google calendar & contacts?

After the sync at 9800 + contacts, you should have run the remove duplicates
from google. The removal is good. Then your duplicates would not be there.

Subject: [apple-iphone] "Sync Google Contacts"

Recently, I tried to sync my Google contacts with all contacts in my
MacBookPro's Address Book by checking the box in iTunes, "Sync Google
Contacts." I have 2300+ contacts in my AB, some of which are duplicates.
After the sync was done, both Google and my AB wound up with 9800+ contacts
-- and many thousands of dupes.

I had to use Time Machine to restore the contacts in AB. And, I've now
deleted ALL Google contacts. (At least I thought I did... not sure that
Google Voice did the same.)

I'd like to ensure that if I check the iTunes box "Sync Google Contacts" the
same thing will not happen again. The goal is to get the same contacts from
AB over to Google, and no more.

Currently, I have canceled my Mobile Me account and am syncing my iPhone
directly with the MacBookPro via iTunes only, and it seems to be working OK
for contacts.

The various Apple help articles are basically worthless respecting "Sync
Google Contacts" -- What happens when this gets checked? What overwrites
what? Or do the two systems combine contacts? Will my MacBookPro contacts
all get put over to Google? Or, will Google's contact list (now empty)
overwrite my MacBookPro Address Book, essentially wiping it out completely?

Appreciate the help and any suggestions.

No, different bug, the one that is in the news is bypassing lock by pressing number keys then top button. And that bug only allows certain things to be done. The one I have allows total use and even removal of lock. Unless I am wrong this is different.

I'm new member of this group!Nice to meet you.
I'm Japanese.
I have a iPhone 4.I bought it about 1 month ago.
It has many good functions and applications!
I surprised at these functuions.
It is very popular in Japan recently.
If I go to downtown,I will see many people who is using iPhone.
Although Apple is American company and many Japanese companies produce good mobile phone,it is the most popular mobile phone in Japan now.
Not only iPhone, its accessories like its cover and screenfilm are also selling well.
Then,I have a question!
Is iPhone the most popular mobile phone in US likewise?
I live in Okinawa,Japan. There are many Americans in Okinawa because many American military's bases are in Okinawa. So,I often see American.
Many American in Okinawa is using iPhone!!
How is the mainland of US?

The iPhone is very popular possibly number one. The Blackberry seems to be falling in popularity, and the Android is somewhere in the top 3.

But then again, this is a iPhone list, so It id very popular with those on this list. There are rumors that the second largest service provider may pay a large fee to keep the next two providers from getting the iPhone.

It's available in the US app store now. Impressive graphics and not
just in cut scenes. In actual gameplay! There's not really a training
tutorial, you learn as you go with training popups telling you to do a
certain action. It's not your typical slash game like Heroes of Sparta
ilk, as you can parry by swiping against the direction of your
opponent's strike. Takes a little getting used to but it's great once
you get the hang of it. Worth the $6 price of admission for me and my
i4!

I was happily running Google Voice on my iPhone 3G for the past several weeks.

All of a sudden [without me making any changes...] it quits on me whenever I
click on a text.
I've done: restarts, deleted the app..then restarted...reinstalled...then
restarted...updated...then restarted.

I have the old Google App...plus the web to work with..but this one was soo much
nicer....

Any other thoughts>??? Thanks!!
