There is no incentive for them to give you any more discount than a new customer. Either you want the phone or don't is their philosophy. There is very little customer loyalty these days. I've been a customer of ATT and their predecessors for over 15 years, now...they have changed their name on me at least 3 times but every time I get a new phone, I get a new contract and they seem to want to start my years of customer loyalty over.

i will do my best here we go.

being an att customer for 2 years with a contract i was able to buy
the iphone 3gs for 200. "UPGRADE" had to do another 2 years again.
however a new customer coming in signing a 2 year contract
also got the same phone for 200?

spent alot of time with att on this one.
what;s your take?
